Jackie’s art practice demonstrates a fresh application of new and pre-existing skills and the understanding and application of materials. Forms and actions are devised through consideration of site, performativity, objects and conversation. Plus, she has just been awarded University of Cumbria Kurt Schwitters Ph.D. Studentship!
Lisa’s practice is informed by detail in man-made and natural environments and concerned with the physical processes of gathering, documenting, preserving, re-purposing and making by hand. She works extensively with community art groups that inspire and inform her artistic practice. She is currently Lead Artist for Cartwheel Art’s ‘Art for Wellbeing’ project.
